Privacy
policy.
How PinnacleQM collects, uses, stores and protects personal information, and the choices you have about it.
1. About this policy
This policy explains how PinnacleQM (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information when you use this website, contact us, or work with us. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you deal with us, we may collect:
- contact details, such as your name, business email, phone number, organisation and role;
- the content of messages and forms you send us, including enquiries, demo requests, careers enquiries and questions;
- details you give us during an engagement, such as project and delivery information;
- technical information about your visit, such as your browser, device, pages viewed and the site that referred you.
We do not ask for sensitive information (for example health or financial information about you). Please do not include it in a message.
3. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you when you fill in a form on this website, email or call us, subscribe to our newsletter, apply for a role, or meet us at an event. We also collect technical information automatically through cookies and similar tools (see section 6).
4. How we use it
We use personal information to:
- reply to your enquiry and arrange consultations, trials and demos;
- deliver and manage our services and our relationship with your organisation;
- consider applications for roles with us;
- send you our newsletter and updates, if you asked for them;
- understand how this website is used, so we can improve it;
- meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
5. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with:
- service providers who help us run our business, such as email, hosting, analytics and customer relationship tools, under agreements that protect your information;
- our professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants;
- authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of our service providers store data outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected to a standard similar to the Australian Privacy Principles.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website uses cookies and similar tools to keep it working, to protect our forms from spam, and to measure how the site is used (for example with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager). Analytics information is collected in a form that does not directly identify you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as forms, may not work properly without them.
7. Storage and security
We store personal information in secure systems with access limited to the people who need it. PinnacleQM’s management systems are aligned with ISO 27001 for information security. No system is completely secure, so if you think your information has been misused, please contact us straight away.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as long as the law requires. After that we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.
9. Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email us at info@pinnacleqm.com. We will reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
10. Newsletters and marketing
We send newsletters and updates only to people who asked for them or who have a business relationship with us. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to stop them.
11. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, email us and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
