Can PinnacleQM's tools be used on Agile and DevOps projects?

Yes. QMFactory was built to support agile test management and delivery, and Enginuity and Authorise automate the test delivery process with virtual testers that run large test volumes within hours. All PinnacleQM products have open APIs and integrate with other PinnacleQM, open-source and vendor tools, including CI/CD pipelines.

Can PinnacleQM's tools support complex waterfall programmes too?

Yes. PinnacleQM’s tools support Agile, DevOps, hybrid and waterfall delivery, and scale to programmes of different sizes and complexity. Large integrated waterfall programmes benefit from the same central test management, reusable automation and evidence-based acceptance as agile teams, with reporting that fits their stage-gate governance.

What types of testing does the automation support?

PinnacleQM’s AI automation supports all test types across the technology stack. Tests can run at the user interface, API, interface and service, or database level, and one natural-language test can combine them for complete end-to-end coverage. The same approach covers legacy mainframe and green-screen applications as well as web and mobile.

How does automation integrate with our CI/CD pipeline?

There are several options. QMFactory can be integrated into your pipeline so tests are triggered and results collated centrally, or the pipeline can call Enginuity directly to scale virtual testers for each build. PinnacleQM’s technical team helps choose the right option for your toolchain and sets up the integration.

Can we automate testing of support ticket changes?

Yes. PinnacleQM’s open APIs integrate with common ticketing systems, linking tickets to the tests that must run before deployment. Support changes can then be validated quickly, with suitable regression packs run automatically or manually before each production release, so fixes do not introduce new problems.
